Darrell King is a human being, artist, designer, and analytics nerd. With young aspirations of becoming an artist, scientist, or ninja, Darrell's life goals changed drastically after discovering Adobe Photoshop. The idea of working with continuously evolving tools in the expanding forefront of digital art, design, and multimedia was far too appealing to leave unexplored.
After attending The School of Visual Arts for Computer Art, he worked in advertising, marketing, and web design before joining startup publisher Ellora's Cave. During his time at EC, he took on a directorial role, pioneering new standards in electronic publishing and developing the brand to make it the largest, most successful electronic publisher for over a decade.
After 13 years, Darrell left Ellora's Cave as Chief Creative Officer to become an independent cover artist and consultant, working with New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Authors and Publishers.
He is currently in Atlanta, Georgia serving as Creative Marketing Manager for Wesley International, makers of Pack Mule industrial electric utility vehicles.
In his spare time Darrell enjoys painting, woodworking, and writing bios in the third person.
